iPro Elite. Cooler isn't kinder.
A two-minute mechanism-of-action film that takes apart the IPL market's favorite assumption — and shows why a sharper pulse, not a colder one, is what makes a treatment comfortable.
The brief
IPL isn't new. Making the market see why iPro Elite is different was the job.
IPL has been a treatment type in the aesthetics industry for years. In a category that mature, with that many light-based devices already on the market, a new handpiece doesn't get the benefit of the doubt — it gets waved through as just one more of them.
The work started upstream. Our conversations about the film began with the people who manufacture iPro Elite — learning what actually sets this handpiece apart from everything else in the category. MD Elite, the device's distributor, needed that difference turned into something a room of practitioners could absorb in two minutes.
The assignment was simple to state and hard to earn: find the real angle, then build the film that makes the case.
The whole IPL market cools the skin to sell comfort. iPro Elite proves the cold is working against you. That's the story.
The assumption — and the reality
Two ideas about comfort. Only one holds up.
Cooling means comfort.
For years, IPL devices have chilled the skin at the moment they fire. The logic feels obvious — cold skin, gentler treatment — and it hardened into the default sales story for the entire category.
Cooling fights the treatment.
Chilling the skin constricts the blood vessels beneath it. The handpiece then has to output more energy to do the same work. The cold doesn't ease the treatment — it competes with it.
The difference
No cooling. A better pulse.
iPro Elite leaves the cold out entirely. Its BK-7 optical lens shapes a far more concise, direct, targeted pulse — short bursts of energy that land easier on the skin precisely because they're sharper, not colder.
Comfort, it turns out, was never a question of temperature. It's a question of precision.
